CTDL 181: Doomed to big pants

I don’t think they speak much about how big the fat cells can get, but if I’m stuck with the same number of cells I had in adolescence then I’m probably doomed to my chubby 185lbs in 8th grade count over my 145lbs in 10th grade count. I’m just guessing of course.

No amount of dieting will alter the number of fat-hoarding cells in our bodies, research has suggested.
Scientists at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden say that the number is set during adolescence and stays the same, regardless of obesity later in life.
